Isabella Capelli (she/her) is a theater-artist and multidisciplinary writer who focuses on integrating the theme of empathy and humanness throughout her work. Her work surrounds character and how people interact within day-to-day life. She is also a queer woman who channels her identity into her art. With a passion to integrate all forms of writing into theater, she attempts to blur the lines between poetry, fiction, and playwriting to create a physicalized story.
mulierem ex igne
mulierem ex igne is a lyrical play that explores cultism and the expression of womanhood
through powerful imagery. The piece questions what it means to see and dabbles in themes of control, identity, and freedom. Five women converse and like the eye, the audience watches.
